Description
Pandora DXL 5000 is an RF code grabber for professional assessment of supported vehicle remote-control and access-control systems. The device receives compatible radio transmissions, processes the captured data and stores supported remote-control information in its internal memory.
On compatible vehicle systems, the stored information provides remote locking and unlocking functions. Trunk release is available on selected models.
Pandora DXL 5000 does not authorize engine starting or replace an immobilizer transponder. Its vehicle functions relate to supported remote-control systems, rather than complete vehicle-key functionality.
315 MHz and 433 MHz Operation
The Pandora 5000 code grabber supports two operating frequencies: 315 MHz and 433 MHz.
Compatibility depends on both the operating frequency and the radio protocol used by the original remote control. A matching frequency alone does not establish that a particular vehicle, alarm or access-control system is supported.

Vehicle Locking and Unlocking
On compatible systems, Pandora DXL 5000 supports remote-control functions for locking and unlocking the vehicle.
Trunk release depends on the supported vehicle system and is not available on every model.
Remote-control compatibility and immobilizer compatibility are different requirements. Support for door locking and unlocking does not imply support for engine starting.
15 Memory Banks
The device provides 15 memory banks for storing supported remote-control information.
Separate memory banks allow stored records to remain organized within the device. Duplicate recording protection prevents the same recognized signal from being stored again. An audible notification indicates that matching information is already present in memory.
Five-Button Interface
Pandora DXL 5000 uses a five-button interface for device controls, operating-mode selection, memory management and supported remote-control functions.
The buttons are identified as Button 1, Button 2, Button 3, Button 4 and Button 5. Button 5 provides power and operating-mode controls.

Password Protection
