Specifications:
The B9-type car keys differ from BA-type keys in that they have an integrated additional user authentication chip using UWB (Ultra-Wideband) technology.
• When using the key recording function with the original B9 key, you will have access to all working features.
• When adding a standard BA key to a vehicle equipped with the B9 system, the buttons on the key will work, but the car can only be started using the chip from the START/STOP button, and the KEYLESS GO function will not operate.
• All Lexus vehicles manufactured for the European market are equipped with the B9 key system.
• In Lexus vehicles manufactured for other markets, such as America or Asia, the standard BA system is used.
• The device includes a built-in function for updating the key control unit in Lexus vehicles, changing the system from B9 to BA, and recording a standard BA key with all working functions.
Instructions can be found here.
The device also includes functions for recording and adding keys. It is possible to record only an original new key for a specific car or a prepared key from third-party manufacturers such as XHorse, Lonsdor, Abrites, and Autel.
